Number 22:

Dear anyone who happens to still be following my blog, or just stumbles across this:

Tomorrow I will be half way through my year in Switzerland... HALF WAY! It scares me to think about the day when I will have to pack up my bags one last time and leave this beautiful country that I've come to call home, but luckily we wont have to worry about that for quite a while still.

I know that I have been a terrible blogger- my last post was more than two months ago- but don't worry! I am still keeping track of every single beautiful, wonderful, exciting moment... just in the good old fashioned way of pencil and paper. I found my blog difficult for two reasons: #1 because I am not often enough on the computer. Like yeah, I live on the internet on my phone, but if I turn on the notebook it's usually to write an essay for University, or put pictures on Facebook. The #2 reason was that it didn't feel personal enough. For you, whoever you are, of course it was good. It was absolutely the best and easiest way to keep my family and friends in the know about what I was up to... but as a source of memories, as something that I will look back on next year, in 5 years, when I'm 50 whatever... it just didn't make the cut.

So here I am... I guess (unofficially) saying goodbye to my blog.  I'm sure at some point I'll be back- perhaps right before I leave- but for now it's going to continue to have kein new updates.
