- The Frankfurt airport legit smells like sausage and cigarettes. No joke. Every 100m there is basically a very expensive hot dog stand, and a big booth for smoking in.... crazy Germans!
- A lot of people dont know what pancakes are!!! They just have crepes with chocolate on them ;)
- Swiss people liking cheese and chocolate is NOT just a stereotype... it's pretty much true.
- I'm pretty sure no one really listens to the English lyrics of songs here!
In case you can't hear the song goes:

And it's a really popular song!!! Weirddddd
- I don't know if it's just my family, but they don't really go to the grocery store. For bread they go to the bakers, for meat to the butchers, for fruit to the farmers.... you know what I mean :)
- Swiss people don't really dance
- A lot of young people here drink "Panachee" which is beer mixed with Sprite. I'll admit that I had a little taste and it was actually way better than you'd think!
- It is not cold here in the summer time! When you think Switzerland you think SNOW, but that's only in the Alps... it's been between 25 and 30 here every day.
- Public transit here is amazing :)
- As a general rule: if you are Canadian people will like you and want to be your friend.
- Cow bells actually sound nice... like twinkling.
- If you're ever learning German just remember: e is "A", i is"E", g is "gay", j is "yot", v is "fau", w is "V", X is "oopsilon", and z is "tset" ...... :S
- Exchange Students are very cool people ;)
- Schnitzel with french fries is a norm on kids menues here
